Characterization of OTA performance is going to be a challenge as wireless communications move towards higher frequency ranges. ART-Fi decided to expand their precision engineering to tackle that challenge, together with their partner WavePro, by releasing a cutting-edge compact range that can be used to characterize the world’s latest technologies, up to 300 GHz.

ART-Fi's new the Power Monitoring Kit (PMK) solves some longstanding issues in SAR labs. It features advanced technologies usually found on more expensive RF validation and verification system combinations. Once setup, the customer inputs the expected power — any power, any frequency — and validates automatically. 

Leading SAR Experts behind the development of the SAR Compliance Bot confess, “Complicated rules make it difficult to determine the correct assessments, certify and take market surveillance.” According to ART-Fi, SAR Compliance Bot changes everything for labs, certification companies, regulators and manufacturers.

ART-Fi launched ART-BODY, the first INSTANT SAR measurement solution for small cells such as microcells, picocells and femtocells. This new solution takes an instant measurement, whereas previously it was taking a couple of minutes to perform a single measurement. 

ART-Fi launches the ART-MAN Duobody Universal SAR measurement system, the first single-unit, 100 percent vector system to measure SAR for worldwide requirements, meeting all the regulations for tissue simulation.

ART-Fi and Electro Rent have announced that Electro Rent is now the sole provider of the ART-MAN SAR measurement system.

DSP Research, ART-Fi customer and leader in Japanese SAR certification, has agreed to participate in the collection of SAR measurement data produced by 100 percent vector measurement systems as a neutral third party. This data will be used by the MIC to help establish a benchmark for new SAR measurement technologies.
