Centellax Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its 2 to 50 GHz RF power amplifiers for military communication and instrumentation systems. The amplifier is available with either 30 dB gain or 18 dB gain. TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., a leading RF solutions supplier and technology innovator, has released two new dual matched low noise amplifiers that are ideally suited for balanced high performance RF design configurations. These integrated LNAs are highly linear and offer very low noise figures, high output and include automatic shut-down capability for use in Time Division Duplex (TDD) and Frequency-Domain Duplex (FDD) applications.

Custom MMIC added three new GaAs MMIC power amplifiers covering 5 to 11 GHz to their growing standard product library. Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for two new GaAs hybrid amplifiers from ANADIGICS. The ACA2786 and ACA2788 each consist of two pairs of parallel amplifiers that are optimized for exceptionally low distortion and noise figure with input and output transient voltage protection.

Although 2012 turned out to be an off year for RF power amplifiers and devices for wireless infrastructure the market still held its own. The current year should be viewed as a breathing space before both segments resume stable and moderate growth after an explosive 2011.
