MACOM acquired Cobham Aeroflex's diode and transistor business for $38 million in cash, combining the #1 and #2 suppliers of RF/microwave diodes.

 Cobham plc announces that its acquisition of Aeroflex Holding Corp., previously announced on 20 May 2014, has been successfully completed following the receipt of regulatory and shareholder approvals.
