SUSS MicroTec, a supplier of process and test solutions for microstructuring applications in semiconductor and related markets, has announced a new structure for sales in Asia based in Singapore. The restructuring establishes the sales office in Bangkok, Thailand, which administers sales and service for lithography and wafer bonder equipment in Asia, and the former Singapore office of SUSS MicroTec Test Systems as a joint sales office for the three product lines in Singapore. Alongside is the appointment of ZMC Technologies as general sales representative for Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.

With this initiative SUSS MicroTec reinforces its strong presence in Asia, where it currently maintains sales offices in Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China; Yokohama, Japan; and Hsinchu, Taiwan. The company now also operates two fully equipped application centers in Yokohama and Singapore and provides real-time after-sales support for both process and test solutions to its Asian customers.

By appointing ZMC Technologies as the general sales representative for Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines, SUSS MicroTec is streamlining its sales and service organization thus providing a high-level of customer support for all product lines. The company has successfully represented SUSS MicroTec´s test solutions for more than eight years and will now be extending its services to sell and support its advanced lithography and wafer bonding systems.
