Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for two series of precision tolerance, NP0 RF microwave capacitors from American Technical Ceramics Corp. (ATC).
The high-frequency, low-loss (Hi-Q) 400L Series and 400S Series capacitors feature a precision thin-film process that provides reliable and repeatable performance, industry-leading tolerances over a wide range of capacitance values, low ESR, and high series resonant frequency.
High electrical and thermal conductivity, and high stability over temperature, make these devices suitable for a variety of critical small- and large-signal RF and microwave applications, including filter networks, matching networks, Hi-Q frequency sources, tuning, coupling, bypass and DC blocking. They are built in SMT packages and are fully-compatible with high-speed automated pick-and-place manufacturing.
