RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support fora 9 W GaN HPA from TriQuint. The TGA2595 supports VSAT and SatCom applications from 27.5 to 31 GHz. 24% power added efficiency highlights this multi-stage amplifier which draws 280 mA from a 20 V supply.

The TriQuint TGA2595 offers 39.5 dBm mid-band saturated output power with small signal gain of 23 dB. A balanced configuration supports low return loss and improves robustness into non ideal loads. Offered in a space saving 3.6 x 3.24 x 0.1 mm DIE configuration, the TGA2595 is up to 3 x smaller than competing products.  To simplify system integration, the TriQuint TGA2595 is fully matched to 50 ohms with integrated DC blocking caps on both I/O ports.
