Linear Technology Corp. announces the LT8584, a monolithic flyback DC/DC converter designed to actively balance high voltage stacks of batteries. These battery stacks are commonly found in electric and hybrid vehicles as well as fail-safe power supplies and energy storage systems.
In another industry first, Passive Plus Inc. now performs 100 percent partial discharge testing on all leaded capacitors. This added capability continues to enhance the reliability of Passive Plus capacitors for demanding high voltage applications.
