ViaSat Inc., a global broadband services and technology company, announced the ViaSat Battlefield Awareness and Targeting System – Dismounted (BATS-D) handheld Link 16 radio – a new digital device that will enable U.S. forces the ability to engage enemy forces 20 times faster than using current radios in their inventory.
