Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., founder of RF SOI (silicon on insulator) and pioneer of advanced RF solutions, announces the UltraCMOS^® PE4314, a 75-ohm glitch-less RF digital step attenuator (DSA). This new DSA extends Peregrine’s existing glitch-less DSA portfolio to 75 ohms. The PE4314 is ideal for wired broadband applications in cable/satellite customer premises equipment (CPE) and infrastructure equipment.

 Integrated Device Technology Inc. (IDT®) announced that it has expanded its advanced RF silicon solutions with the addition of two new Glitch-FreeTM digital step attenuators (DSAs), as well as its first product in a new family of voltage variable attenuators (VVAs). OML Inc. introduces a new option for its signal generator frequency extension module, SxxMS. Already available with options for manual adjustable attenuation and DC power connection to Keysight’s PSG; the source module now includes an option for electronic attenuation.

 Common mode chokes are used as in line filters to reduce broadband mains-borne radio interference. Wurth Electronics has developed current-compensated common mode chokes with nanocrystalline cores for this purpose.
