Online Panel Series
Title: Online Panel: Non-Terrestrial Networks
Date: August 15, 2024
Time: 8am PT / 11am ET
Sponsored by: Keysight Technologies, NXP, Rohde & Schwarz USA and Maury Microwave
A new feature of 3GPP Release 17, NTNs enable cellular communications to be delivered by satellite, providing secure, reliable and high bandwidth coverage to isolated locations globally. The initial technology enabled by NTN is narrowband internet of things (NB-IoT), which enables many new use cases, including asset tracking, remote monitoring and emergency services. The panel will discuss the challenges and solutions for device design and testing.
Moderator: Pat Hindle, Media Director, Microwave Journal®
