Huawei has opened its new UK Headquarters at 300 South Oak Way, Green Park, Reading. The move reaffirms the company’s long-term commitment to the UK and is the first significant milestone in the company’s pledge to invest £1.3 billion into the economy over a five year period.

Tensilica^® Inc. has strengthened its strategic relationship with Huawei with the announcement that HiSilicon, the semiconductor division of Huawei, is expanding its use of Tensilica’s Dataplane Processor Units.

Huawei and the Russian operator YOTA Networks have successfully launched the first commercial LTE network in Moscow. YOTA Networks decided to provide Mobile Broadband (MBB) based services enabled by a best of breed LTE network and selected Huawei as its preferred technology partner.

UK Broadband (UKB) has switched on its first 4G LTE system in London using Huawei’s Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) solution.
