Rohde & Schwarz has developed a test solution able to perform the first tests for RF conformance in 3GPP FR2. The introduction of the new mmWave based FR2 frequency range for 5G and the increased use of active antennas without physical connectors requires testing to be performed over the air (OTA).

Mega Industries and Ferrite Microwave Technologies (FMT) have merged to create Microwave Techniques. The new company includes the Micro Communications (MCI) and FXR Microwave dummy load product lines previously acquired by Mega Industries.

Skyworks has added the SKY85333-11 (2.4 GHz) and SKY85747-11 (5 GHz) front-end modules (FEM) to their portfolio of solutions designed for high-power Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) applications.
