European Microwave Week is back in Germany once again. In Nuremberg, Rohde & Schwarz will present its wide range of T&M equipment for microwave applications. Experts from Rohde & Schwarz will also be holding ten workshops and seminars as part of the event program. The following test and measurement highlights will be on display in hall 7A, booth 106 at the NCC:    

Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions and an IDT company, now offers the FTM Series of surface mount OCXOs that is ideally suited as the timing reference for network synchronization.

Rohde & Schwarz and its HAMEG Instruments subsidiary now market a range of favourably priced test and measurement equipment bearing the new joint "Value Instruments by Rohde & Schwarz" label.

Vaunix Technology Corp., a manufacturer of Lab Brick USB powered test equipment, has introduced a new model to its LMS series of signal generators. The LMS-271D covers a frequency range of .5 MHz to 270 MHz.

Phase Matrix Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of National Instruments, participated in the demonstration of the world's first 100 GHz real-time oscilloscope. The integrated microwave assembly designed by Phase Matrix for the demonstration is a broadband downconverter, which allows the successful acquisitioning and displaying of live signals at 100 GHz bandwidth.

Teledyne LeCroy, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc., demonstrated the world's first 100 GHz real-time oscilloscope by successfully acquiring and displaying live signals at 100 GHz bandwidth. This demonstrated performance dramatically exceeds currently available capabilities. High speed oscilloscopes are vital tools in the development of high-speed digital networks, the critical backbone of the rapidly expanding cloud-based computing paradigm that characterizes our digital age.

Tektronix Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of oscilloscopes, introduced the new MSO/DPO70000DX Series of performance oscilloscopes that feature models with 23 GHz, 25 GHz, and 33 GHz bandwidth and enhanced tools for debugging digital and analog circuits.

Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC), supplier of complete testing solutions for EMC applications in military/defense, telecommunication, commercial CE, aerospace and automotive markets, announced it has been awarded ISO/IEC 17025-2005 & ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 accreditation for calibration by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).

Thales Alenia Space announced an important milestone regarding the satellite integration and test center built in Turkey. The building is air and water tight, and installation of the main test systems is well under way.

Microwave Vision Group has launched µ-Lab, a new patent pending, compact and portable microwave test system designed for wireless devices utilizing Wireless Gigabit technology.
