NXP Software,  a world leader in mobile multimedia software for the mobile device market, and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, have agreed a multi-year IP License and a Solution Supply Agreement which establishes NXP Software as a primary Samsung voice solutions partner.

AWR announces the dates and venues for its AWR Design Forum 2013 (ADF2013) events in China and Taiwan that take place in early September. The AWR Design Forum is an open event at which designers of microwave and RF circuits and systems can network, share useful information, and collaborate on industry issues and trends.

The LPKF Group announced that based on preliminary figures it achieved year-on-year revenue growth of 39% to EUR 70 million in the first half of 2013. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) after six months are expected to come in at EUR 15 million, which would represent an EBIT margin of 22%.

Linear Technology announces the LTC3330, a complete regulating energy harvesting solution that delivers up to 50mA of continuous output current to extend battery life when harvestable energy is available. The LTC3330 requires no supply current from the battery when providing regulated power to the load from harvested energy and only 750nA operating when powered from the battery under no-load conditions.

Innovative independent small cell developer and manufacturer, ip.access confirmed it has been selected to supply Jersey Telecom with 3G small cells for the UK island’s first residential, business and public access deployment.
