Lake Shore to highlight terahertz, other systems at SPIE Optics + Photonics

Lake Shore Cryotronics will exhibit its materials characterization solutions, including its prototype terahertz (THz) system, at booth 623 at SPIE Optics + Photonics, August 27­­­-29 in San Diego. Aeroflex Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced the introduction of the new 3920B digital radio test set for Analog AM and FM, Digital P25, P25 Phase II, DMR, NXDN™, dPMR, TETRA and TEDS technologies. The 3920B features a new low phase noise RF signal generator in addition to the already advanced functionality available on the Aeroflex 3900 Series radio test sets. The 3920B is the direct replacement for all versions of the Aeroflex 3900 Series, including the 3901, the 3902, and the 3920.

Renaissance announces change in ownership

On August 1, 2013, Renaissance entered into, and closed on, a Stock Purchase Agreement with LEC Acquisition LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and K Acquisition LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.  LEC Acquisition LLC owns 99% of Renaissance, and in turn is majority owned and controlled by Southvest Funds VI LP, a Delaware limited partnership. Southvest Funds VI is in turn controlled by Gen Cap America, a private investment firm headquartered in Nashville, TN.
