Teledyne LeCroy introduces the HDO4000-MS and HDO6000-MS high definition oscilloscopes which combine 16 channels of flexible mixed signal capabilities with HD4096 high definition technology, long memory, and a compact form factor, in bandwidths from 200 MHz to 1 GHz. All HDO models sport a large 12.1” touch-screen display and intuitive interface to enhance operation. Powerful debug tools, plus a full complement of automatic measurements, and waveform math capabilities turn the HDO-MS oscilloscope into an all-in-one analog, digital, serial debug machine.

Pulse Electronics Corp., a leading provider of electronic components, introduces a new VDSL2 30MHz transformer that is compliant for use with the Lantiq Vinax V3 chipset family. The BX4290LNL and BX4290LNLT transformers are used with the Class AB line driver to deliver high bandwidth over existing copper transmission lines. These transformers have improved longitudinal balance and provide excellent total harmonic distortion performance on a very compact platform. 

Hittite Microwave Corp. announced a new Gallium Nitride (GaN) MMIC power amplifier product which offers significant performance, size and durability advantages for communications, test instrumentation and radar systems operating in the 6 to 18 GHz frequency range.

TFT-LFcables from Times Microwave Systems are an alternative low cost solution compared to semi-flexible (solder braid) coax and RG type coax for RF interconnects in applications up to 3 GHz.

The latest entry in Madden's blog on the Richardson RFPD website is titled, "Active Antenna Systems Reach the Tipping Point." The article covers how China Mobile is driving the industry to massive deployment of active antenna systems (AAS) solutions, as well as the application of simple AAS solutions in frequency-division duplexing (FDD) communications for crowded, urban areas. The article concludes with Mobile Experts' forecast of a 40 percent average market growth for AAS during the next five years.

Giga-tronics has introduced the GT-1000B option 06 and the GT-1050B/GT-1051B olid-state ultra-wideband microwave power amplifiers which cover 100 MHz to 20 GHz and 10 MHz/2 GHz to 50 GHz respectively, with high output power, low noise figure and low harmonics in a single amplifier.

Custom MMIC, a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), is introducing a new 6-20 GHz Low-Noise Amplifier to its growing product library, the CMD194C3. The new packaged broadband amplifier offers low noise figure and high gain while requiring a single-supply voltage.

DragonWave Inc., a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, announced the commercial availability of its 60 GHz technology in the Horizon® Compact+ and Avenue Link product lines. Currently in production, DragonWave’s 60 GHz products have already been deployed in successful small cell mobile operator trials. These products are well suited for metro deployment in small cell architectures due to their small form factor and high-capacity, low-delay transport capabilities. Because the 60 GHz spectrum is widely available and generally offered at a lower cost than other bands, the newly incorporated technology offers network operators more product options to cost effectively plan and deploy emerging small cell and LTE/LTE-A backhaul deployments around the world.

San-tron Inc.
