Times Microwave Systems has recently announced the availability of the EZ-500-NMH-X type N no-solder male (plug) straight connector for LMR-500 low loss coaxial cable. The new crimp-style connector does not require soldering of the center conductor into the contact making it perfect for field installations and they also do not require braid trimming!  The EZ-500-NMH-X is compatible with the CST-500 cable prep tool and the HX-4 (with Y151 dies) crimp tool.

Skyworks Solutions Inc. introduced a 0.7 to 1.2 GHz, single-die cascode, GaAs, PHEMT LNA for cellular infrastructure applications such as tower-mounted amplifiers, remote radio units, repeaters and base stations. The LNA offers very low noise figure and high linearity along with excellent return loss and gain flatness.

The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a three-year, $171 million contract to continue providing engineering and integration support to its Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The work will focus on the Navy’s Trident II D-5 submarine-launched ballistic missiles.

Exelis has received a contract valued at more than $8 million to provide transportable, precision ground control approach capabilities to the Estonian armed forces. Available in case sizes spanning 01005 to 2225, voltages up to 500 V, and capacitance tolerances as low as ±0.1 pF, AVX’s C0G (NP0) MLCCs provide one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available in today’s market, making them ideal for resonant circuit applications requiring superior stability or a precise temperature coefficient, such as: matching circuits, handheld devices, and GPS, among others.

Delcross Technologies announced the first commercial release of Signa, a software toolkit for advanced radar signature analysis. Signa delivers efficient EM simulation of complex radar cross sections (RCS) for targets that are tens to thousands of wavelengths in size. 

Crystek's CVCO55CC-2380-2380 VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) operates at 2380 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.3 ~ 4.7 V. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -119 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically +2.5 dBm.
