Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that its 89600 VSA software has been enhanced with custom IQ modulation analysis. The analysis capability speeds time to insight by allowing R&D engineers to more easily test proprietary signals forsatellite and military communication applications.

Linear Technology Corp. announces the automotive (H-grade) and high reliability military (MP-grade) versions of the LT4320, an ideal diode bridge controller for 9 to 72 V systems. The LT4320 replaces a full-wave diode bridge rectifier with a low loss N-channel MOSFET bridge to reduce the power and voltage losses by a factor of ten or more. Power supply size is reduced as the enhanced power efficiency eliminates bulky heat sinks.

Test Equipment Plus announced the Signal Hound BB60A, a real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder designed to capture and display RF events as short as 1 µs. The BB60A is small, lightweight, affordable,USB-based and operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz.

Gowanda Electronics, a US-based designer and manufacturer of precision electronic components and inductors for power, radio frequency (RF), and high frequency (HF) applications, is teaming up with its recently acquired sister company, TTE Inc., also a US-based company, to provide a broader range of electronic components to the global design engineering community. TTE Inc. designs and manufactures RF and microwave filters for critical markets including defense and test & measurement.

Anritsu Co. announces its MS2830A Spectrum Analyzer/Signal Analyzer is now compatible with the Monics satellite carrier monitoring system from SAT Corp. (SAT), a subsidiary of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. A new driver enables the MS2830A, which combines high speed and performance in a cost- and energy-efficient design, to be integrated into the Monics enterprise networked carrier monitoring system used by government agencies, satellite operators, satellite service providers, and telecommunications companies. 

Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced a high-performance 14-slot AXIe chassis and system module. This unique technology enables multi-module system capabilities that allow test engineers working in radar, antenna, high-energy physics and digital to set up large systems with all modules in a single chassis, providing better module-to-module synchronization and performance.

An advanced antenna reflector designed and built by Harris Corp. has been successfully deployed in space onboard the Sirius FM-6 satellite which was designed and built by Space Systems/Loral (SSL) for SiriusXM.
