 Rigol Technologies, Inc. announces significant enhancements to its commercial operation that will help the company's rapid growth trajectory and better support its customers. Bob Bluhm has been named vice president, with responsibility for both Rigol's North American and European operations. Mr. Bluhm arrives at Rigol with over 25 years of experience in the test and measurement industry in product development, operations, and sales; most recently serving as vice president and general manager of Value Scope Line of Tektronix and vice president of distribution sales at Tektronix/Danaher. 

 Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson and global leader in RF, microwave, and optical connectivity solutions for the delivery of voice, video, and data, presents global distributor of the year award at the Electronics Distribution Show (EDS), in Las Vegas. 

 ARC Technologies will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new advanced manufacturing facility in Amesbury, MA on June 18, 2014.   

 San-tron, Inc., a leading manufacturer of RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies, has announced the release of their new, pSeries pressurized connectors which provide low-loss, high-stability performance through 30 GHz at +/-65 psi. These pressurized connectors, which meet the IP68 standard, feature a simplified, three-piece design – body, center contact, and an innovative dielectric – which eliminates troublesome internal O-rings, gaskets, and silicone greases. 

 Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that its SystemVue 2013.08 Service Pack 1 supports co-simulation with the Questa functional verification platform from Mentor Graphics. System architects and FPGA designers are now able to cross-validate RF and DSP architectures directly, saving research and development time, as well as design iterations in high-performance applications, such as radar and communications. 

 Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. announced that on June 11, 2014 its board of directors appointed Don C. Bell to serve as a member of the company's board. Mr. Bell will also serve as a member of the board's compensation committee. 

 Agilent Technologies Inc. announced a portfolio of Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) hardware and software test solutions for generating and analyzing signals up to a bandwidth of 192 MHz. The test solutions are used by R&D engineers to test transmitters, receivers and components against the requirements set forth in the DOCSIS 3.1 specification. 

 Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that, in April 2014, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., received an order from an existing customer valued at $5.3 million for state-of-the-art 500W Ka-band high-power amplifiers to be used in the High Throughput Satellite (HTS) market. 

Lockheed Martin received a contract from the U.S. Air Force with an initial value of $109 million for sustainment of the reentry subsystem for the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $6 million study and demonstration contract by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to further develop an Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR). Raytheon's EASR concept leverages proven Radar Modular Assembly (RMA) architecture matured on Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR). EASR's flexible approach meets the performance needs of different candidate ship classes for ship self-defense, situational awareness, air traffic control, and weather monitoring.
