Mercury Systems Inc., a leading high-tech commercial provider of more affordable secure and sensor processing subsystems powering today's critical defense and intelligence applications, announced it received $5.2 million in orders from a leading defense prime contractor to provide radar subsystems and related digital processing technologies for a missile defense application. The orders were booked in the Company's fiscal 2015 fourth quarter and are expected to be shipped over the next several quarters. 

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Nanosatellite Program, or SNaP, will be a small satellite communications, or SATCOM, constellation. This will allow communication across great distances using existing UHF tactical radios.

 Indra will supply two Lanza 3D long-range deployable air defence radars (LTR-25) to NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency). The amount of this contract, with an execution period of 38 months, stands at €22 million, and includes options for a third radar and some optional equipment, which could rise the price up to €36 million.

Analog Devices, Inc. introduced the HMC1127 and the HMC1126 MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) distributed power amplifiers. Covering the frequency range of 2 to 50 GHz, these new power amplifier die simplify system design and improve performance by eliminating the need for RF switches between frequency bands.

JADAK, a manufacturer of machine vision, radio-frequency identification (RFID) and  bar code scanning products for health care and life science industries, has developed three new technologies designed to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) solve health care scanning, inspection and tracking challenges. They will be on display and available for the first time at the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in Atlanta, July 26-30.
