Mercury Systems Inc. announced it received a $3 million follow-on order from a leading defense prime contractor for high performance microwave subsystems for an electronic warfare application. The order was received in the company’s fiscal 2016 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

The latest version of the software makes it easier to quickly find signals of interest and pinpoint them in time, enhanced broader pulse signal analysis and waveform search capability, and filtering of export files to include only specific signals.

A U.S. military systems integrator has awarded the Satcom Division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI) an order totaling more than $4.5 million to provide high-power, X-Band traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) and related products for a significant military communications program. Under this follow-on contract, CPI's X-band SuperLinear® TWTAs will be used in a shipboard satellite communications program for the U.S. military that CPI has supported for a number of years.

Antenova Ltd., manufacturer of antennas and RF antenna modules for M2M and the Internet of Things, is adding two new positioning antennas, Bentoni and Asper, to its range of flexible FPC antennas.

Anritsu Co. (booth #717) will highlight its leadership position in high-speed digital test – displaying the industry’s only solution that supports 112G PAM4 generation and BER tests with accurate jitter injection – at DesignCon 2016. The new solution, which features the award-winning MP1800A BERT Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA) and new 64G baud 2-bit DAC with MUX, is part of a portfolio of test solutions and technologies that Anritsu will showcase to help engineers verify high-speed chip, board, and system designs used for emerging networks.

Ericsson and Huawei have agreed on extending their global patent license agreement between the two companies. The agreement includes a cross license that covers patents relating to both companies’ wireless standard-essential patents (including the GSM, UMTS and LTE cellular standards). Under the agreement, both companies are able to access and implement the other company’s standard essential patents and technologies globally.
