Agilent Technologies Inc. announced a next-generation user interface for its Infiniium real-time oscilloscopes. It is the first oscilloscope user interface to take advantage of new display technologies and significantly enhance the user experience by offering faster documentation, personalized viewing and improved usability.

Molex Inc. announced its NeoScaleTM High-Speed Mezzanine System at DesignCon 2014.  Delivering remarkably clean signal integrity at data rates of 28+ Gbps, the modular mezzanine interconnect is designed for high-density printed circuit board (PCB) mezzanine applications with limited PCB real estate.  Industry applications include enterprise networking towers, telecommunication hubs and servers, industrial controllers, and medical and military high data-rate scanning equipment.

Agilent Technologies Inc. extended its leadership in LTE-Advanced measurement with its latest X-Series measurement application release. The software provides the most comprehensive RF conformance testing of LTE-Advanced FDD and TDD transmitters and components to the 3GPP Release 11 specification. It is available for both benchtop and modular products.

7Layers and Anritsu Co. announce that 7Layers has upgraded its ME7873L RF/RRM conformance test system with Rel. 8, Rel. 9, and Rel. 10 Radio Resource Management (RRM), as well as carrier aggregation (CA) test capabilities. This upgrade significantly expands the 7Layers test portfolio, including RRM capabilities for conformance test (CT), carrier-specific RRM capabilities for carrier acceptance test (CAT), and Anritsu’s market-leading capabilities for LTE Advanced CA.

Texas Instruments (TI), and Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN), the world's specialist in mobile broadband, announced their collaboration on NSN's next generation of indoor small cell base stations.  Based on NSN's Flexi Zone suite of products, the new indoor small cell base stations are expected to support a record 400 active indoor users, compared to 32 users supported today, in a power over Ethernet envelope.
