LTE-Advanced subscriptions to reach 500M by the end of 2018

LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) subscriptions will take an important role in the mobile subscriber market, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 295% between 2013 and 2018 to reach 500 million, which will represent 34% of the overall 1.47 billion LTE-related subscriptions. Meanwhile, total LTE subscriptions for 1Q-2013 increased by 37.5% quarter-on-quarter, reaching 108 million.

Mercury Systems receives $3.6M for integrated microwave assemblies for EW application

Mercury Systems Inc., a best-of- breed provider of commercially developed, open sensor and Big Data processing systems for critical commercial, defense and intelligence applications, announced it received $3.6M in follow-on orders from a leading defense prime contractor for integrated microwave assemblies (IMAs) for an airborne electronic warfare (EW) application. Anite delivers significant LTE-Advanced industry contribution
