Finmeccanica – Selex ES has received an order from prime contractor Finmeccanica – AgustaWestland to provide a suite of electronic warfare equipment for eight Lynx Mk21A aircraft used by the Brazilian Navy.

The AN/SLQ-32(V)6 was developed as part of the Navy’s Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP), which is an upgrade to the AN/SLQ-32 electronic warfare anti-ship missile defense system. 

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGA3504-SM, 2 to 30GHz Gain Block from TriQuint (Qorvo). The TGA3504-SM offers 8 dBm of output P1 dB with a corresponding small signal gain of up to 11.5 dB. Output third order intercept is >17 dBm. Wideband performance of the TGA3504-SM supports multiple applications such as Electronic Warfare (EW), military and commercial radar and military or commercial communication systems.

Exelis has received a contract valued at more than $91 million from the U.S. Navy to begin full rate production on Lot 11 of the ALQ-214 electronic self-protection system for F/A-18C/D Hornet and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter aircraft.

API Technologies Corp., a leading provider of high performance RF/microwave, power and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, announced the receipt of a new $1.6 million award to provide microwave filters and switched filters to a leading global defense company. These high reliability filters will be used in a major airborne electronic warfare (EW) platform.

Exelis has received an award totaling more than $36 million to provide electronic warfare (EW) equipment, spares and support services to the Turkish Air Force. When fully definitized, the contract could be valued at up to $80 million.
