MVG (Microwave Vision Group) announces a significant contract (circa 9€ million) from PIT-RADWAR S.A. for the purchase of a turnkey, state-of-the-art, antenna test facility in Poland.

The CommScope facility in Brno, Czech Republic will produce base station antennas for wireless operators across Europe, significantly reducing lead times before delivery. The quicker deliveries will help Europe’s network operators meet aggressive LTE deployment schedules as they race to deliver enhanced service to subscribers. LTE uses new frequency bands and technologies that must be supported in network infrastructure such as base station antennas. 

 Skyworks Solutions, Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things, announced that it is expanding production capacity in Japan to meet the growing demand for its filter technology. Skyworks is facilitizing a two-story, 405,000 square foot facility in Osaka that will house the design, development and manufacture of filter devices to complement its industry leading front-end solutions and world-class assembly, test and packaging capabilities.  

 A new development center will advance satellite sensing and communication technologies, broadly known as Radio Frequency (RF) payloads, at the Lockheed Martin facility in Denver. The RF Payload Center of Excellence will focus on developing reconfigurable payloads and advancing satellite systems that many already rely on, from high-def television broadcasts to GPS transmissions and secure government communications. 

Haigh-Farr, a world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of integrated antennas for defense, space and commercial applications, increases its in-house environmental testing capabilities with the construction of a dedicated facility adjacent to its existing building.

Keysight Technologies Inc. announced that Sharp Communication Compliance (SCC) Ltd., an independent test laboratory that focuses on testing for the wireless communications industry, selected the Keysight T1111S Bluetooth® RF platform for use in its RF classic and low energy test lab.

 ARC Technologies held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new advanced manufacturing facility in Amesbury, MA.  

 On May 7th 2014, Rigol Technologies held a grand opening ceremony in Suzhou, China to commemorate the opening of its new 440,000 square foot manufacturing facility.  The event was attended by over 100 of Rigol's international distribution partners, local and state government dignitaries and many industry leaders.

T-Tech Inc. and The Geek Group announced a joint agreement to offer a state of the art solution and facility for rapid printed circuit board (PCB) design, verification, and fabrication. The collaboration will combine T-Tech's QCJ5 series Quick Circuit System and IsoPro® Software for PCB prototyping with The Geek Group's expertise and 43,000 square foot Leonard Street Labs Facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
