Renaissance Electronics Corp. announces that its Harvard, MA facility has been awarded the AS9100 Aerospace Standard Certification. This certification signifies that its facility in Harvard complies with all requirements of the AS9100 quality management system. The AS9100 is the aerospace industry’s quality system standard developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group for quality assurance in design, new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing and servicing. “Earning the AS9100 certification represents a significant milestone for our Harvard, MA operations, and reinforces Renaissance Electronics leadership position within the defense and aerospace market segment,” said Tom Kurian, President of Renaissance Electronics Corp. This level of certification ensures that the company offers its aerospace customers the highest level of quality and service.
Renaissance Electronics Corp.'s Harvard, MA facility is the first Renaissance manufacturing site to receive the AS9100 certification for design and manufacture of RF, microwave, and millimeter wave components, subassemblies, multifunction assemblies, integrated assemblies and systems for aerospace, defense and commercial products, stated Tom Kurian, President of Renaissance Electronics Corp. “I am very proud of our employees who worked diligently to earn the certification.” The AS9100 standard is a set of requirements for quality management systems that include all of the elements of ISO 9001-2008 and expanded to address international aerospace requirements that are now approved by major aerospace companies around the world.
