Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its latest test solutions for femtocell testing at the Femtocells World Summit to be held in London, UK, from 23 June to 25 June. The event is a major milestone for this maturing market sector. It will bring together operators, analysts, manufacturers and application suppliers from around the globe and be a defining event in the femtocell timeline.

Rohde & Schwarz will feature the R&S®SMBV100A vector signal generator, the R&S®FSV signal and spectrum analyzer and the R&S®CMU300 universal radio communication tester. The first two were designed to meet the production requirements of high-volume production, with fast switching and measuring times, an excellent price-performance ratio and on-site service capabilities.

The R&S®CMU300 universal radio communication tester is a base station tester that combines RF parametric testing and signaling, and is suitable for rapid testing of WCDMA femtocells on a mass production line. The system ensures consistent, accurate testing at high production speeds.

In addition, the conference agenda includes a variety of lectures. The keynote speeches will be given by the operators including Vodafone, AT&T, Softbank and Telecom Italia, followed by femtocell-related topics from vendors, OEMs, universities and analysts, as well as panel discussions about the latest developments in femtocells.
