When construction began mid-August on an additional 15,000 sq. ft. building at AR Worldwide's headquarters it was only the latest in a series of "groundbreaking" activities for the international manufacturer/distributor of amplifiers, antennas, transient generators and electronic test systems.
With 2005 sales climbing past $50 M, and sales outside the US now accounting for 60 percent of the company's revenues, AR Worldwide is definitely experiencing a major growth spurt that more than justifies the $2.2 M expansion project.
The new three-story addition to the company's headquarters in Souderton, PA, is expected to be completed by March of 2006. It will provide additional meeting space, testing areas, customer service, production facilities and storage, as well as room for future growth.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, AR Worldwide founder and president, Donald "Shep" Shepherd, outlined some of the company's most recent achievements, including:
• New Transient Generator System that adapts to changing automotive specs
• Addition of Clean Room for microelectronic assembly and design
• Introduction of advanced Field Monitoring Equipment
