VXI Technology Inc. announced that it has changed its name to VTI Instruments Corp. to more completely represent the applications and markets that it serves.
“While we continue to be the leading supplier of VXIbus products, our development efforts focus on several industry standards that each have a long history of stability and backward compatibility,” said Paul Dhillon, president and CEO. “Changing our name is the natural next step for the company since it allows potential customers to better understand VTI's capabilities. It is an exciting time for VTI as we further expand our customer base worldwide.”
VTI Instruments develops precision instrumentation for electronic signal distribution, data acquisition and monitoring on several open architecture platforms, including VXI, VME and LXI, which the company co-founded in 2004. VTI's design philosophy allows its customers to optimize their capital investment through product and platform longevity.
