HYT and EADS Secure Networks (SN) have signed an official agreement to launch a strategic cooperation in the public security market in China. This comprehensive and in-depth strategic partnership encompasses the development of customized solutions based on the TETRA technology, the design and manufacture of TETRA terminals, as well as the development of modern applications. Under the agreement, both sides are committed to the joint design, manufacture and distribution of 350 MHz TETRA terminal products.
SN and HYT will also co-develop 350 MHz TETRA systems to provide a total solution for China’s public security users, which will be the first TETRA solution to be designed in China. For Chinese public security users, this cooperation will not only mean more affordable trunking communications but also a better chance for customized solutions.
Jean-Marc Nasr, president of EADS Secure Networks, said, "We are committed to long-term strategic development in China, especially in China’s public security market, and this agreement with HYT further proves our willingness to meet the specific local needs. Our shared goal is to complement each other and further boost the role of TETRA digital trunking solutions in China’s public security market."
Chen Qingzhou, president of HYT, added, "We designed a win-win cooperation: EADS Secure Networks with its world-leading technologies and HYT with its local advantages in resources complement each other perfectly. HYT can provide good equipment and a wide marketing platform for local production and also provides strong support for the industrialization and localization of TETRA. HYT is looking forward to serving customers in liaison with EADS Secure Networks."
