We at New Continents Technology (NCT) are honoured to participate at the MTT-S IMS 2008, and we attach much importance to our attendance because the IMS is widely considered to be the world’s premier microwave event. Significantly too, it affords valuable access for all microwave contributors to get together and learn from each other. It contributes greatly towards the promotion of the microwave industry internationally, with its potential to impact powerfully on various companies in promoting the microwave message.

For the microwave industry, we see the future as being good, with microwaves increasingly being used for wider applications. For the LTE, WiMAX, WiFi and many other applications, microwave technology will improve the lives of an increasing number of people. We very much agree with the phrase that “In the future, wireless is everything, everything is wireless.” As for the present time, we recognise the trend for designing microwave components that have higher power, higher frequency, smaller outline and advanced technology. The whole world is making good progress here.

In various ways globalisation is very significant. The earth is becoming smaller and smaller. People can communicate conveniently from almost anywhere in the world. The whole world is linked so compactly that no one can survive without a global presence.

It’s the same for NCT. In the past we aimed at addressing our national market in China. However, now we realise it is the time to focus on the whole word, which is full of benefits, competition and innovation. Stepping out into the wider world is the calling of the microwave industry, and the calling for the advancement of the earth.
