Holzworth Instrumentation announces the release of the HS1001A USB-controlled 1.024 GHz RF synthesizer. Typical phase noise performance is -130 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz (10 kHz offset) with harmonics below -30 dBc and spurious below -60 dBc. Other features include: DC-coupled AM/FM/PM and pulse modulation capabilities, frequency sweep, internal/external triggering and DC bias input.
The HS1001A is controlled by USB or Ethernet via the HolzSource application, LabVIEW™, MATLAB™ and Explorer™. Adjustable parameters include: frequency range from 8 MHz to 1.024 GHz, output power of -110 to +13 dBm and phase offset of -180° to +180°. Custom VME/VXI/PXI form factors are also available.
