Taiwanese electronics giant, the HolyStone Corp., has expanded its operation with the formation of a new company to serve Europe.
Called HolyStone (Europe) Ltd., the company is based in Norfolk, UK. It will focus on multilayer ceramic capacitors manufactured by the parent company in Asia.
HolyStone (Europe) Ltd. is headed by John Plaskett, who has over 30 years of experience in the passive component industry, with a major focus on multilayer ceramic capacitors. He is backed by a team of highly experienced sales and technical people who have a proven track record in the industry. The initial team will be expanded over the next few months as further key appointments are made.
Commenting on the new operation, Plaskett said: “This is a very exciting opportunity and we are ambitious to grow the business by developing the HolyStone brand name throughout the whole of Europe and Israel. Initially we are concentrating on appointing agents and distributors across Europe, closely followed by establishing approvals with major OEMs and EMSs.
With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, we can offer high quality products and competitive pricing. But our major strength is the team of people we have put together. They are all experts in the industry and will provide a high standard of technical and commercial support, dedicated to the important European market. Many of our competitors do not offer this. In addition, we can deliver the logistics expected of a global distributor.”
