dB Control has hired Isaac Pimentelli as Senior Program Manager. With a strong, 20+ year background in engineering, manufacturing and program management for the defense, aerospace and instrumentation industries, Pimentelli will support an exclusive dB Control program for airborne power supply development. dB Control also recently hired five additional engineers as the company continues to expand its technical capabilities and provide high-power products built to stringent customer specifications.

While details of the program Pimentelli will manage cannot be disclosed, all of dB Control’s low and high voltage power supplies are custom designed to meet stringent SWaP requirements using the company’s core technologies: in-house manufacturing processes (encapsulation and pressure curing) and thorough testing (RF, environmental, HALT and HASS). Power supplies designed and manufactured by dB Control provide excellent thermal management and feature best in class size, efficiency, regulation, lowest ripple and power density. Specialized contract manufacturing and build-to-print services are also available.

“At dB Control, we qualify multiple military programs every year for airborne, shipboard and ground-based applications. It’s essential that our program managers stay highly attuned to the technical, budgetary and scheduling demands of our customers — all while meeting strict regulatory and compliance requirements for MIL-spec operation. Isaac will be a valuable asset to our team because he brings deep industry knowledge and the ‘make it happen’ attitude our customers count on,” said dB Control Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Lee.

Prior to joining dB Control, Pimentelli was senior program manager at Lucix, where he oversaw space satellite programs and worked with key stakeholders to meet customer expectations. In his previous roles as the senior director of program management and senior product line director at Teledyne Microwave Solutions, he successfully launched new products and drove business development through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Pimentelli earned an associate degree in Electrical Engineering from Heald Institute of Technology and completed the Program and Project Management Certificate Program at San Jose State University.
