RFMW
Driver Amplifier
The QPA0001 is a packaged driver amplifier fabricated on Qorvo’s 0.15 µm QGaN15 on SiC process. Operating from 8.5 to 10.5 GHz, it can deliver 2 W saturated output power, 50% PAE and 27 dB of large signal gain. The QPA0001 incorporates active bias control to provide customers with bias point stability while reducing system complexity. Its compact size in a 4 × 3 mm mold encapsulated QFN can support tight lattice spacing requirements for phased array radar applications.
Chip Scale Packaging
Marki Microwave continues to push the frequency envelope with its chip scale packaging portfolio, and the new ultra-compact MMIC DC to 40 GHz limiter is no exception. Featuring game-changing, die-level performance in a 1.5 × 1.5 mm surface-mount package, the HLM-8010CSP1 delivers 10 dBm flat leakage at 20 GHz, 1.9 W CW power handling, 16 dB minimum return loss across band and is compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly.
Rosenberger
Spring Loaded Bullets
Rosenberger provides SMP and mini-SMP spring loaded bullets in various lengths, starting from 12.35 mm nominal working length. Due to their spring loaded design these bullets – jack configurations on both sides – compensate the distance tolerance in board-to-board applications without any degradation of the RF performance and a constant signal integrity throughout all specified x, y and z misalignment scenarios. Spring loaded bullets are ideally suited for aerospace, security and defence market applications.
Samtec
Threaded Compression with Alignment Features
Samtec’s threaded compression mount connectors are uniquely designed with alignment grooves milled into the foot of the connector. With the incorporation of fiducials to the PCB footprint, it becomes possible to achieve a level of positional accuracy that was previously unattainable by visually aligning the groove and the fiducial. Precision alignment ensures repeatable, peak connector performance for test and measurement applications.
Siglent
Handheld Spectrum & VNA
The SIGLENT SHA850A handheld spectrum and VNA provides dependable and accurate measurements in both frequency and time-domain applications. It has a wide range of applications and is suitable for test requirements including communication engineering, radio management and telecom operation and maintenance. With solid RF performance, flexible analysis tools and a complete portable solution, the SHA850A makes a great addition to any RF engineer’s field kit.
