The Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) Fastest 50 Class of 2022 was announced this past week and IEEE MTT-S IMS2022 has been selected as an honoree in all categories. The Fastest 50 list recognizes the 50 fastest-growing shows in each category of metrics tracked by TSE’s Research Department and through submissions. This year marks the return of the Fastest 50 list post pandemic.

“Coming off of a year when shows were just returning to in-person events, we expected to see considerable growth across the board in 2022 and shows spanning all industry sectors certainly delivered with unprecedented growth,” TSE Director of Research Carri Jensen said. “We haven’t seen growth rates of this magnitude in the history of Fastest 50.” The Fastest 50 Class of 2022 grew 82.8 percent in net square feet, 76.5 percent in number of exhibiting companies, and 88.2 percent in total attendance. Roughly one-third of the shows on each metric list – net square feet, number of exhibiting companies and total attendance – grew by triple-digits, and the remaining Fastest 50 shows grew by double-digits larger than 41 percent. “It’s wonderful to see IMS2022 as an honoree in all categories.

This is a testament to the hard work that the IEEE MTT Society, IMS2022 Steering Committee and Vendors put in to make the show in Denver a success,” said Carl Sheffres, exhibition director, Horizon House. “We look forward to an even stronger showing at IMS2023 in San Diego, Calif., as we continue to build back to pre-pandemic attendance and exhibitor numbers.” IMS2023 will be held June 11-16, 2023, in San Diego, Calif. Booth spaces are still available for purchase and registration for the event is open.
