Rosenberger and bda connectivity recently celebrated 25 years of successful cooperation in the field of triax measurement technology: triaxial CoMet measuring tube systems—developed and manufactured by Rosenberger, marketed by bda—are world leaders in the field of measuring the shielding effectiveness of cables, connectors and components.
One focus of the cooperation is the further development of the theoretical basis, the revision of the international standards as well as the practical optimization of the CoMeT measurement system, e.g. the adaptation to future technologies and end applications, such as automotive, e-mobility etc., or the development of measurement adaptors for single pair Ethernet applications.
"We hope that the joint activities of both companies will continue for a long time to develop the technology for further applications," said Bernhard Mund, responsible for EMC test engineering and standardization at bda connectivity. Thomas Schmid, head of the EMC laboratory at Rosenberger, added, "With the increasing expansion of wireless technologies, IoT, e-mobility, etc., the potential applications of the triaxial process will tend to increase."
