RFMW announces design and sales support for a high power SMT circulator from Skyworks Ireland. The SKYFR-001982 circulator delivers 200 Watt average and 400 Watt peak power handling for 1200 to 1400 MHz L-band radar systems and wireless applications. Low, 0.3 dB insertion loss improves efficiency with minimal transmit power loss. The SKYFR-001982 offers high power level handling with minimal thermal rise, providing a flow path for the RF signal as well as protection for sensitive components from excess signal reflection. A compact SMT housing is designed to be easily incorporated onto PCB boards with automated pick and place manufacturing.
