John D. McClellan has joined Anokiwave’s board of directors, according to the company.
McClellan is a partner at Pear Tree Partners, L.P, which provides investment and advisory services to early stage and growth capital companies, and he serves on the board of SciAps.
He has more than 30 years experience in corporate leadership, private equity and strategy consulting. Previous positions include CEO of Palladium, managing director at Thomas H. Lee Partners, CEO of Sprague Energy and president of EPIK Communications, which he founded.
McClellan started his career at the strategy consultancy, Monitor Group, where he was a leader in the telecommunications practice and rose the role of CEO of its software division, Decision Architects. He also served on the Monitor Group’s board.
He has served as an outside director on the boards of Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, The Access Group and ESM Software Group.
McClellan earned a master’s in business administration with high honors from Harvard University and a bachelor of arts in political economy from Williams College.
