RFspin has announced an extremely broadband mmWave antenna with continuous coverage from 6 to 67 GHz and coaxial connector feeds.
The model QRH67 is a dual-polarized horn antenna that transmits and receives across the full 61 GHz bandwidth. Rather than using a waveguide interface, the 50 Ω antenna is connected with 1.85 mm coaxial connectors, which provide less than 2.0:1 VSWR across the full band. The antenna handles input power up to 5 W CW or 10 W peak.
RFspins says the compact antenna is ideal for line-of-sight communications links, aerospace and defense, medical electronics, scientific research and test and measurement. As 5G systems are being deployed, it will be particularly useful for over-the-air testing of mmWave infrastructure and customer premises equipment.
Founded in 2003 and based in Prague, RFspin Ltd. develops and sells antennas, focusing on measurement applications.
