RFMW announces design and sales support for an ultra-linear, CATV, MMIC amplifier. The Qorvo QPA8801 features a push-pull cascode design providing flat gain and ultra-low distortion.
Ideal for DOCSIS 3.1 applications from 45 to 1218 MHz using a single 12 V supply, the QPA8801 offers excellent composite distortion at high efficiency consuming only 4.5 W in a 5x7 mm QFN package. Providing 11 dB gain at 1218 MHz with a CTB of -78 dBc and CSO of -70 dBc, Noise Figure is 5.5 dB. Applications include broadband CATV hybrid modules, DOCSIS 3.1 amplifiers and head-end CMTS equipment.
