RFE is the new generation of founding company Spinnaker Microwave. Dating back to 1991, Spinnaker Microwave's reputation was earned by designing and manufacturing a broad and diverse offering of voltage-controlled oscillators, which RFE continues to support, according to Michael Maslana, CEO, who announced the launch of RFE.
RFE is an original design manufacturer (ODM) serving the military, industrial and commercial markets with a product line of small profile, high-performance converter and synthesizer sources. RFE also offers replacement alternatives to an array of legacy integrated microwave assemblies and millimeter wave products.
Joining Maslana to lead RFE is industry veteran Mike England, who serves as president and CTO. Most recently, England served as the general manager of Teledyne Microwave Solutions. Previously, he was instrumental in the VCO product architecture at Cougar Components and led its successful growth, which led to its acquisition by Teledyne. England earned his MSEE degree from Santa Clara University.
England will manage RFE’s design and engineering activities, working closely with Maslana to introduce RFE and fulfill its commitment to be a world-class supplier of RF and microwave components.
