The Ampleon BLF898 offers 900 W of RF power and 18 dB of gain in the frequency range of 470 to 860 MHz. Capable of withstanding output mismatches equal to 40:1, the excellent ruggedness of the BLF898 makes it an excellent choice for UHF broadcast transmitters and ISM applications. With 33 percent typical drain efficiency, this LDMOS device operates from a 50 V supply. Integrated dual-sided ESD protection improves reliability. Offered in a flanged package, an earless package is also available as the BLF898S.
