MACOM Technology Solutions Inc. has opened a new EMEA Centre of Excellence focused on its activity in GaN and Silicon Germanium (SiGe) technology, targeted at RF energy, aerospace and defense and beamformer applications. The local team will provide product design, marketing and program management capabilities.
The new premises are located directly at the Novio Tech Campus, meaning that MACOM benefits from a state-of-the-art research infrastructure and a deep RF energy talent base, further augmenting the company’s continuing growth and leadership within the industry. This historical city makes it very easy for customers to meet with MACOM face-to-face as it can be reached by a direct train connection from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
“MACOM’s Nijmegen office is a center of excellence for RF energy,” said Mark Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development for RF Power at MACOM. “One of the main reasons we opened this office is to drive growth. The skill set that MACOM demands can be challenging to find, and this location is a hub for highly capable RF experts, and offers the talent and resources that MACOM needs.”
The Nijmegen office strengthens MACOM’s commitment to its EMEA customers by bolstering the company’s European support network comprising offices in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy. Round-the-clock support is provided in cooperation with MACOM's offices in China, Taiwan, India, Japan and the USA.
