Power-sensing Terminations
The SmartLoads series microwave power-sensing terminations offer straight-line linear performance over a wide dynamic range. The units are diode free, yet detect RMS signals with good clarity. The terminations are completely passive and, therefore, are not the source of intermodulation themselves. When used in conjunction with the company's Thermopads® and a bridge circuit, the units become insensitive to variation as temperature changes. When used with high power attenuators, good response at power levels exceeding 150 W is possible.
