RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the PE42723 UltraCMOS SPDT RF switch from Peregrine Semiconductor. Achieving -121 dBc second harmonic and -140 dBc third harmonic at 17 MHz., the PE42723 exceeds the linearity requirements of the DOCSIS 3.1 cable industry standard and enables a dual upstream/downstream band architecture in cable customer premises equipment (CPE) devices spanning 5 to 1794 MHz.
By using the PE42723 dual-band architecture, multi-service operators (MSOs) have the flexibility to offer their customers new and expanded services. Supporting both DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 requirements, insertion loss for this Peregrine switch is 0.3dB with 54dB of isolation and allows MSOs a simple and cost-effective transition to DOCSIS 3.1.
The PE42723 comes in a 12-lead, 3 x 3 mm QFN package.
