RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the Qorvo TGA2239-CP high power MMIC amplifier offering 35 W of saturated CW output power for Ku-band applications.

The Qorvo TGA2239-CP operates from 13.4 to 15.5 GHz with power added efficiency of >34% and small signal gain of 25.5 dB. Processed using GaN on SiC technology, the TGA2239-CP draws 900 mA from a 22 V supply.

Offered in a 15.2 x 15.2 mm Cu-base package, the TGA2239-CP is also available in chip form as the TGA2239. Applications include Radar, data links and satellite communications.
