Z-Communications Inc. announces a RoHS compliant voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) model CLV1625B-LF. The CLV1625B-LF operates at 1445 to 1820 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 2 to 25 Vdc. This high performance VCO features a spectrally clean signal of -105 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 23 MHz/V.

The CLV1625B-LF is designed to deliver 0.5±2.5 dBm of output power into a 50Ω load while operating off a 5 Vdc supply and drawing typically 25 mA of current. This low noise VCO operates over the extended commercial temperature range of -40 to 85ºC. The CLV1625B-LF features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard, low profile MINI-16L package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
