RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a Ka-band amplifier with 1 W output power. Qorvo’s TGA4544-SM supports 28 GHz, point-to-point radio and Ka-band linear satellite communication systems in the 26 to 31 GHz frequency range.

Available in a 5 x 5 mm QFN package, the TGA4544-SM has 23 dB of gain, a P1dB of 31 dBm and Psat of 32 dBm. OIP3 is rated at 41 dBm. Qorvo has designed this PA for ease-of-use so no matching components are required. The TGA4544-SM operates from a 6 V supply and draws 1100 mA of current.
