Aaronia AG offers new, high quality magnetic field antennas of the MDF series, usable for signal direction tests and field strength measurements. Available in 5 different versions (2 passive, 3 active) the MDF covers an extremely wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 400 MHz.
With their small dimensions of only 180 x 180 x 85 mm, with a weight of just 180 grams, the MDF series is predestined for small, portable instruments. The MDF has a high-grade SMA connector, but can be used by means of optional adapter with other commercially available spectrum analyzer with N connector. Together with the MDF, every regular spectrum analyzer transforms into a professional signal finder in a few simple steps.
Thanks to the high directionality of the antenna, the MDF, in addition to the field strength measurement, is ideally suited for signal direction finding. This predestines the MDF for use as a rf direction finder or to locate illegal or unwanted interference. The special transformer factor of the MDF, in conjunction with a dBm indicating meter, gives a direct dBA/m display with the correct sign (power meter function).
Designed and manufactured in Germany each MDF antenna stands for the highest quality standards. To illustrate this point the warranty period of the MDF is a full 10 years.
